This post is part two of my two-part post on facial treatments that really work. Read part one here, to read more about the supposed and actual benefits of treatments such as gold, diamond, snail mucus, bee venom and caviar.
This post at beautyeditor.ca discusses why spa facial treatments are not really good for your skin. This New York Times article also explains why dermatologists don't recommend facials for optimal skin health and beauty. This article quotes Professor of Dermatology, Doris Day, MD about spa facials: "I call it 'spa science' because there isn't a lot of science behind many of the claims." She further adds,"Think of a facial as a treat rather than a medical treatment." Good at-home daily facial care can preclude the need for costly facial treatments.

Which opening below should I start Two Tonys Chapter 2 out with? 1 = Two Tonys describing his preferred killing methods 2 = Two Tonys describing how he clicked up with the Mafia
1)
When whacking a guy at close range, I always prefer to shoot him in the head. A motherfucker is more likely to die from getting his brains blown out than taking a hit to the body. The skull is like a helmet that protects the brain. It can slow a bullet down and sometimes it deflects bullets. To get around that you put the gun in his mouth if youre able to get that close. Aimed up, you can splatter his brains against a ceiling or produce a cloud of fine mist formed by a blend of brains and bone fragments. Aimed slightly down, youll get a quick kill if you destroy the spinal column at the base of the skull. But the spinal column in that area is so skinny its only slightly thicker than a pencil. Thats why shooting someone in the neck is risky. You might get a good gargle out of the guy, but the bullet will likely go through the neck and miss the spinal column. Two other nice spots are the temple and the side of the head under the ear, using an upward angle towards the brain. Stay away from the chin, but the nose is good cause its hollow over the brain, so it allows the bullet right in, just like the eyes. The heart is a great target, but the chest is a large surface area, and the ribs sometimes change the paths of bullets. If a bullet doesnt cause fatal heart damage, you still might get a kill if the aorta or the largest veins into the heart or the major branches are destroyed. A shotgun is perfect to aim at the heart cause the pellets spread out, so even if you have a lousy aim, theres usually plenty of damage to cause a motherfucker to bleed out. A shotgun in the mouth will put someone to sleep fast. It might take a motherfuckers head off. Kurt Cobain chose that cause its the most lethal form of suicide. If youre in the market for a gun to protect your home, get a shotgun.
Assuming youve made a clean kill, you have to decide what to do with the body. When the Mafia whack a guy, they rarely do it in the streets like in the old Al Capone days with Thompson submachine guns. They wanna take a guy out somewhere he just disappears, ground up in a sausage machine or fish bait in Jamaican Bay or in a junkyard in the trunk of a beat-up car crushed to the size of a cigar box. With no corpse, its hard for the cops to prove there was a crime. The exception is when theyre trying to send a message. Some bodies are meant to be found. The body of a snitch might be dumped in a public area with a canary or a pigeon stuffed in the mouth as a warning to others. Before hes killed, his tongue might be cut out. A more elaborate way is by placing a guys feet inside of cinder blocks, filling them with cement and throwing him into the water. Thats where the expression someone who sleeps with the fishes came from.
I like to dispose of a corpse as far away from the crime scene as possible and to bury it. The main problem with that is the stink. Its best wrapped in the kind of plastic sheets used to catch paint drops, so you dont get blood on your car or clothes, and transported in a sleeping bag to disguise it in case you get pulled over or you can use a 50-gallon industrial drum. If the corpse is too big for the drum, you might have to saw an arm or a leg off. Ideally, you cocoon the corpse in plastic and sheets like a mummy with its hands at its sides before rigor mortis kicks in. A corpse rots underground, destroying the evidence. It rots faster in the heat, so summer is the best time to whack someone. Heat will rot a corpse down to a skeleton in under a week, so its easier to get away with whacking someone in Arizona than Alaska. I ran into problems disposing of bodies in Alaska cause the motherfuckers just froze and what Id hoped for didnt happen: the bears eating the corpses. In heat, worms, maggots and parasites feast on the corpse.
For premeditated killings, its best to dig a hole in advance due to the time it takes to get deep enough: about five or six feet. We aint talking about no little sandpit here. Digging a hole is hard fucking work. You dont wanna get caught with a shovel loitering off some backroad in the boonies with a stiff in the trunk. If you dont dig deep enough in Arizona, monsoonal rain might expose the corpse, or coyotes might dig the motherfucker up and start chewing on an arm or leg. I helped bury a few in Tucson, where bears and lions come down from the mountains when theyre hungry. Theres more rain in Tucson than Phoenix and its slightly cooler, so you get better desert soil to dig into. In Phoenix in the summer, the desert is baked too rock hard to dig. A good trick is to bury the stiff at least six feet under the grave of a large dead dog or any other big carcass. If the cops come out with cadaver dogs, which pick up a corpses scent, theyll stop digging when they discover the carcass. Once youve got your corpse buried, take a look at the spot and see how obvious it looks. Camouflage it by raking sand or soil over it.
If you whack someone on the spur of the moment and you need to get rid of the stiff fast, take it to the nearest cemetery. Find the area of freshest-looking graves, and check no cameras are scoping you out. Dig a grave up and drop the corpse in. Who the fucks gonna notice that? Thats why one of the Mafia families I worked for, the Bonannos, invested in funeral homes.
2)
In 1962, I first saw Teddy Licavoli in a pizzeria where we both knew the owner in Grosse Point, Michigan, one of the most exclusive neighbourhoods in the US, home of the big shots of the auto industry like the Fords and the Dodges, and gangsters like the Zerillis and Licavolis, who lived on Mafia Row. Teddys dad, Peter Licavoli, was a mob boss they arrested for murder seven times, only to be released every time. His wealth came from gambling, liquor-smuggling and boot-legging operations.
With thick dark hair sprouting from a low brow, parted at one side and greased back, Teddy was my age. His eyes, big and brown, had a hustlers gaze. Hed been to Grosse Point High, and military school in Florida while his dad was in the joint for tax evasion. There was a big difference in his lifestyle and mine, but we attracted. He was looking to get a little thug in him, and I was looking to hang out with the big boys. In order to hang out, I had to have a little something-something to offer, a little charisma, a craziness, a ballsiness, so theyd think, I can use this guy for something. Working in the suit department at a mens clothes store, I was dressed sharp and I had a 1956 Chevy convertible outside next to Teddys new Corvette.
So I got talking to Teddy, and we clicked. We went to a restaurant. Everyone knew who he was. We didnt have to pay for a thing. They were like, Ive got this. Hows your father? Give him my regards. Which was good for my ego and prestige. After that, we hung out at a pool hall with about fifty others from all over, some big-shot gangsters kids, and blue-collar motherfuckers like me. Teddy said he was going to Arizona. He asked if Id pick up his twelve-year-old brother, and take him to a saxophone lesson at their house in Grosse Point. Before long, I was driving down to their house twice a week.
I wasnt doing anything other than driving the Licavoli kid to sax lessons when Aldo Apichello, a friend Id made through the Licavolis, said to me, Lets go to LA and live. Aldo was a smart good-looking kid, real dark and wiry, with thick hair. His brothers were hooked up with the Licavolis in the numbers racket, the Italian lottery, an illicit form of betting that allowed people to pick three numbers that won if they matched numbers drawn the next day. Due to the small size of the bets, it was popular in blue-collar neighbourhoods.
Fuck it! Lets go! I said.
We packed his 1958 Plymouth Fury convertible, said our goodbyes See you later. Were going to LA! and took off. We cruised along Route 66 with the top down, two young guys pumped up on adventure. Before Las Cruces in the New Mexico desert, we hit a strip of road past Roswell, and saw a sign: NEXT TOWN 100 MILES.
Lets make it in a fucking hour! Aldo yelled.
Lets go!
We set our watch timers, and Aldo punched the gas. The Fury blazed down the little two-lane road, no freeway, no lights, hemmed in by sand dunes. We were doing it, going 110 mph. The Fury was wide open. We made it, but fried the engine up. Coughing from the stink of burnt oil and rubber, we pulled in at White Sands, where the dunes looked like snow.
In Las Cruces, a mechanic said it would take a week to get the parts to fix the Fury. We checked into the Lorna Hotel. In a glass case, the old register had the signatures of Billy the Kid and the lawman whod shot and killed him, Pat Garrett. The hotel even had the cell where Garrett had locked up Billy the Kid. There were no room keys. The bathroom and bathtub were down the hall.
Fuck waiting around here for a week. The Licavolis have got a ranch in Tucson, Aldo said.
Across a vast desert with the odd shrub and cactus, we took a Greyhound bus to Tucson. On the way, we called Mike Licavoli Teddys older brother, a bit bigger than Teddy, but with the same dark hair and complexion who picked us up. Going to the Triple H Ranch, Mike drove through the University of Arizona, all tall campus buildings, palm trees and well-watered grass. The sun was shining and college girls were smiling at us. Can you imagine the impression that had on me coming from dark and smoky Detroit to cleanliness and fresh air? I fell in love with Arizona right away.
The ranch building was spread across the desert with cactuses here and horses there. Papago Indian maids with lustrous black hair were cleaning rooms and cooking. Snowbirds old wealthy guests from out of state were staying there, paying monthly.
An old-time Jewish gangster managed the ranch. When he took his top off, he revealed a pastiche of bullet holes and scars on his back from shootouts during his days in the Mayfield Road Mob, based out of Clevelands Little Italy. Most of the people running the ranch were from Ohio, including ten goombahs from Youngstown. With them, we went to the Grace Ranch every day while living at the Triple H. The Grace Ranch was thick with mobsters on the lam, walking around with no necks, their noses all on the sides of their faces, their wives with them, and their Cadillacs.
Only twenty-one, I was more than impressed. It was like taking a kid off a baseball sandlot, and putting him in the Yankee locker room with his favourite players. While waiting for the Fury to be fixed, I was swimming and eating well every day. The dining room at the Triple H had twenty tables and wood walls with knotty-pine panelling and southwestern motifs. The Papago Indian maids served us. Mike Licavoli, Aldo and I always ate there. There was no bill, but we had to eat what they fixed for the day, bunkhouse style.
One night when we were all drunk, Mike took us out on the town. Stopped at a red light on Speedway Boulevard in an old station wagon, Mike got into a yelling match with some guys. We pulled in at the Flamingo Hotel, got out, and started fighting the guys. I grabbed a FOR SALE sign from the back of the station wagon, and started swinging it and hitting the motherfuckers. All at once the guys took off, but cops arrived in plain clothes. They showed us their badges: liquor-control agents. They knew who Mike was and were laughing. After asking us what we were doing and all that shit, they let us go. During the fight Mike had noticed that I was a thumper. He liked that.
When it was time for me to leave Tucson, I told Mike, Id like to come back out here to live and work with you.
Let me clear it with the old man first, he said, referring to his mob-boss father.

A basic skin care regimen starts with a good cleanser. Facial cleansers help remove makeup, dirt, pollutants, and oils. Going to bed with clean skin is essential for your skin to breathe, keeping pores unclogged is key for healthy and radiant-looking skin. And startng the day with fresh clean skin is the way for easy and smooth make up application. Having a cleanser which cleans is important, yet you need one which isnt too strong that it remoces all oils i.e. the natural oils that keep your face hydrated, because then it could dry out your skin which in turn leads your face to produce even more oils. Did you know sometimes oily skin is caused by dryness? Now you do! ; )
I myself have combination skin, which sometimes can get rather oily on my T-zone especially after mid-day. Certain times when I use products that are too strong, I find my skin feeling tight after wash - that indicates that cleanser was drying for my sensitive skin. I would find myself waking up with more oils in the morning day after.
It took me a few years to realise my skin was sensitive cuz my skin tends to turn reddish quickly after being irritated; I was told later on by a few beauticians that my skin was probably the sensitive kind. Since then I have always kept "gentle" or "suitable for sensitive skin" labels as a priority when it comes to looking for beauty products.
Recently Ive been introduced to this newly launched gentle cleanser by Winter Organics - their Chamomile Facial Cleanser. It is made with organic ingredients and suitable for all skin types, also including sensitive skin which is great! And whats even better is that this product not tested against animals; cruelty free and vegan! Three hoorays for Winter Organics!
Winter Organics Chamomile Facial Cleanser facts:
· It is made with 100% natural ingredients · Certified organic by Australian Certified Organic (ACO)
· Chemical free
· No artificial colours & fragrances
·Gentle to all skins types including sensitive skin
·Cruelty free and Vegan since product is not tested against animals
*Certified Organic Ingredients ^ Constituent of Essential Oils Note: Glycerine is certified organic and produced from non-palm oil origin.
From the list above, you can see that ingredients used are naturally derived and au natural. My favourite ingredient would be Calendula since Ive been fairly familiar with it since recently I have been using Calendula baby care range for my 3-month old baby girl. Calendula is a plant extract which is beneficial for dry skin, scars, and wounds. It is gentle with moisturizing and healing properties. If you did read my previous blog post you would know I shared about using Calendula facial cream for my baby when she had tiny red bumps on her face (read here: http://vannytelly.blogspot.sg/2015/11/baby-preparation-hospital-packing-list.html), just a few applications and it all went away. Miracle or what? ; )
Trying the product for the first time....
Product is gel-like, not the usual white & thick consistency.
Just a 20-cent dollop is good for the entire face. Add some water for lather.
Just to show how much lather youd get... Since the Chamomile Facial Cleanser is chemical free, youd not get thick lathering because the more lather = more soap = more chemicals. Gentle, gentle, gentle! : D
After washing, face is clean, supple & radiant-looking. No filters or editing of photos. : )
**Boink-Boink**
What I love about this product? - The Orange Scent When I first used the Chamomile Facial Cleanser, I thought to myself how much I loved the citrus-y smell. On the subsequent washes, there was a time I said in my mind "OMG I LOVE THE SCENT"... Hahaha.. Really love the smell, cannot explain. Try and tell me if you love it as much as I do. Its really refreshing and calming. - Gentle on sensitive skin Cleanser is pH5 formulated which is suitable for all skin types and even sensitive skin. It even speeds up acne healing time with anti-inflammatory properties. My skin felt fresh and definitely no tightness after washing, in fact my face felt soft and supple. I was told that the cleanser is so gentle, I could use on my baby as well. Hehe. - Natural & Organic Zero chemicals = healthy well being. In this day & time, many things we use and eat are polluted with chemicals - which may cause health hazards later in life. Body belongs to oneself, why not do your part to take care of your health in any possible way. In this aspect, it is as simple as that. ; )
- Cruelty Free For an animal lover, this was definitely an eye-catcher and motivation to grab a tube or two. Products from Winter Organics is certified cruelty free and vegan under People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA). You know it is when you see this cute bunny logo on the product.

Teresas bones were found in multiple locations, the majority of them in Steven Averys burn pit, some in a burn barrel by Bobby Dassey s house, and some in a quarry almost half a mile away. If Steven Avery was a criminal mastermind when it came to cleaning up DNA, why would he leave the majority of Teresas bones outside of his house? Surely, the rural land and forest around the Avery yard would have been a better way to hide the bones.
A Canadian expert testified at the trial that the bonfire outside of Steven Averys house was incapable of causing such heat damage to the bones. It would have required a crematorium level of heat to reduce the bones into such a highly fragmented state, including considerable damage to the long bones, pelvis and skull. A lot of people are assuming Steven Avery is guilty because bones were found outside his property, which on the surface, is rather incriminating. But Kratz isnt talking about how Stevens bonfire couldnt possibly have burnt the bones to a crisp because it suggests that the bones were moved there to frame Steven. Kratz was never interested in the truth as then his theater performance in court would have fallen apart.
Update: the German murder suspect was obsessed with burning things.

Outside of speculation, Kratz never presented a murder weapon that could be conclusively linked to Steven Avery. The Averys were hunting folk, and bullets were found all over their property. Kratz presented a single crushed bullet that had no grooves on it, therefore rendering it unable to indicate which weapon had fired it. Kratz claimed the bullet had Teresas DNA on it, yet the bullet didnt have any blood on it and had been contaminated by an incompetent lab technician. Kratz theorised that it had been fired by Steven Averys .22 without a shred of proof because the bullet was unreadable. At least one of Averys neighbours had a .22 rifle at home. Kratz claimed Teresa was chained to a bed, raped, tortured and had her throat slashed, yet he failed to produce any physical evidence such as marks or scratches on the bed frame. The knife that allegedly slashed Teresas throat was never found, nor were any handcuffs, chains or ropes with her DNA. If Teresa was shot eleven times, where were the other ten bullets? They should have fell out of her body at the burn site. Could it be that there was no murder weapon in the homes of Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey because they didnt murder Teresa?

My Weight Loss Story.. (Spore girl loses 39kg over 2 years: Find out how she does it.)
Hi all.. So sorry for my delay of updates.. For those who do not know..
Ive hurt my lower back last week, while bending to wear my shorts! (Stupid right?, I know..) to make matter worst i went ahead for gym that very afternoon as i thought it was just a moment of strain..
So as usual in my gym i do my gyms stuff, treadmill, light weights, my sets of lifting squatting sit-ups etc..
The next day in the morning!! I cant get up at all.. I know i sound exaggerate but really.. i was in tears due to the pain.. Anyway i have seen my physiotherapist and got a few treatments from him and i have almost recover fully.. I already start to workout yesterday for those who never follow me on Instagram or add me in facebook..
Ok.. So after my story has appeared on Stomp, Asiaone, Shin Min Daily Newspaper(as seen below)..
I have received a lot emails and inquiries about asking how i did it and stuffs..
What makes you determined to loose weight..? How you loose weight?
To answer your questions let me give you a full detailed story of What? and How?..
From young i am already chubby, with the fat genes i inherited, things just got worst..
I love to eat, i simply live to eat.. As a primary school kid.. I can eat up to 4 or 5 pieces of bread as breakfast, 2 plates of rice plus 7 to 8 pieces of chicken wings as lunch, same thing for dinner 2 plates of rice and as much meat i can eat. I hate vegetables and fish!! Still acceptable as kids? (of course no!)
In my primary school days, my life still wasnt so bad, kids will still be kids, they still dont really judge.. I still managed to have some friends in school.. I think im still considered cute then.. =P
My TOUGH time came as soon as i went into secondary school..
In secondary school, teenagers they tend to form groups or clicks.. Me? Alone of course...
But was i affected? On the appearance.. Of course no.. I acted very tough as if im still happy and ok. Whenever people make fun of me, i will try to fight back..
I was constantly been mocked joked and laughed by school or classmates..
"Fat Pig", "Miss Piggy", "Pigs Trotter", "Fatso" etc.. anything that can be linked to fat.. Ive heard it all before..
Whenever we have to form teams and groups, i will always be the last few that got chosen..
To make matter worst.. There are even teachers who joined the students in mocking me!!
Never mind.. since there wasnt anything i can do.. i can only quietly swallow the humiliation..
But do you all really think i was as strong and as Ok that i mentioned?
No.. At times when i go back home i will cry and cry.. Blame everyone, vent out all my anger and hatred in my room by myself.. I even had suicidal thoughts that maybe if i died, hopefully next life i can be reborn as a slim and beautiful child, but i got no guts to end my life..
So with all these negatives stuffs happening around me and going through my head.. I became rebellious, create problems at school, giving my family lots of problems (im not going to say in details about these stuffs as i would like them to be private till i think its necessary to share more).
My life from then didnt improve, i went from bad to worst, not only was i ugly on the outside, i was ugly in the inside as well.. I became a very Problematic Child..
However, things happened and luckily i managed to change and realized that whatever wrong things that ive done im only hurting myself and my family members..
So I would like to take this opportunity to thank those people that have never give up on me, especially my family members.. Also even though i dont really have friends, i still managed to have 2 friends from secondary school till now, whom i treasured a lot. Lets called them J & E.. Thanks both of you for being my friend when im at my worst and thank you for still being my friend.. I love you both! Look forward to many more years of endless friendship..!
After i get out of secondary school at the age of 16 plus i was at my heaviest 96kg, i start to have a lot of health problems.. I get sick easily and i started to feel giddy every time i stand up and very frequently out of breath. One day i got so breathless i had to visit the doctor..
What the doctor told me gave me a WAKE UP CALL.. He told me all these problems happened because im overweight. But now im not only overweight. Im OBESE!
obese
?(?)?bi?s/
adjective
1.
grossly fat or overweight.
"a hugely obese young man"
My Doctor added "if you are not going to do anything to your weight and health, you will have extremely high chances of getting Heart problems!".
"ARE YOU PREPARED TO DIE AT SUCH YOUNG AGE?!?!"
This sentence was the sentence that struck me so badly... I was so bothered by it i kept thinking about it for a few days.. Finally i stand in-front of my rooms full length body mirror and take a good look at myself..
I was so huge!! My waist was 36", i couldnt even wear my fathers pants!! I was crying so hard and was very disgusted with myself..
After crying so hard i looked into the mirror and i told myself, from now on I WILL CHANGE!
Im gonna change my life to be better to be healthier. I started researching and goggling about different kinds of exercise i should do and started my routines..
I bought a dance compilation VCD called "Para Para" dance which was very popular at that time and i danced at home everyday for an hour.. Those who dont know whats para para please take a look:
These girls in the dance video was my motivation back then..
Other than dancing for an hour everyday i start to eat less fried stuffs and gassy drinks.. With just small changes like that, i lost about 4kg a month but due to greed, i found out from online that i could purchase some medication that could bring down my weight even more and faster.. Stupidly i went and purchase and eat this medicine.. This medication was like magic pill, i lost about 8kg in 3 months... With the bonus of constant gastric and insomnia.. Eventually my gastric was so bad that when i visit the doctor he told me to stop eating this as my body couldnt take it anymore and ive been vomiting yellow liquid stuffs which i think might be gastric acid..
Guess what, as soon as i stop this medication.. Poof!!! I regained back the weights that ive lost!!!!
This time round 2nd try.. I told myself no more funny stuffs.. Diet and exercise..! I really push myself exercise.. Other dancing i added Cardio exercises and a lot of sit ups and i increase my workout more as months passed by..
I ate very strictly according to my diet plans that ive customized for myself. Every month i gradually loose some weights and by the age of 19 years old i was at 57kg.. I lost total of 39kg of weight during 2 years at 17 - 19year old.
Of course after slimming down, a slimmer me and a more attractive me, starts to attract guys..
With this sweet and bitter part of my life i gained back to 80kg after working so hard!
I will continue this and the rest of weightloss story at Part 2.
Sorry as my lower back still does hurt and ive been sitting infront of the computer for almost 2 hrs..
In part 2 i will continue why i put on weight and how i managed to loose all these weight AGAIN and MAINTAIN them all the way till NOW..
**Disclaimer:
I want all my readers and followers to know I dont look down or discriminate heavier weight people.. I have nothing against bigger size people, I was obese myself...
Reason why i started this blog is to SHARE, MOTIVATE & INSPIRE.. I want people who are like me to know that they are not alone...

Kids putting their hands up to ask questions at Chipping Campden School during my talk at the Chipping Campden Literature Festival. The 3rd pic is a Labour politician who served time for fraud, Denis MacShane. We did a joint event in the evening. In the heart of England, Chipping Campden is like a medieval mediterranean village. The author Kazuo Ishiguro lives next to the school.
Next Tuesday at 7PM Im doing a school talk in Surrey which is open to the public and free to get in. Its at St Johns School, Leatherhead? which is 20 minutes away from Guildford. Anyone interested in attending must register here.

Many of you have raised concern for the case of Steven Avery. As you have seen from the series, Making a Murderer, the criminal justice system is far from perfect. Cases like Avery are very complicated. As you will learn through the series, a member of the Innocence Network is currently looking into some aspects of his case.
While we know from the 336 DNA exonerations that innocent people are wrongly convicted and serve long prison terms for crimes they didnt commit, we dont know how many innocent people are in prison seeking to clear their names. Fortunately, the filmmakers behind Making a Murderer are helping to shine a spotlight on some of the problems that plague the criminal justice system, like false confessions and government misconduct.
