Coolsculpting Treatment (Non Surgical Body Contouring)

As promised, this year im gonna blog more about slimming/weight loss and other related stuffs.

So other than blogging about my daily routine, food i eat and myself.

I decided to explore a little bit more..Other than workout, diet, pills and plastic surgery.

What else is there to assist in Slimming/Weight loss/ Body Contouring.

Thats what lead me to research about Aesthetics treatments.

While researching i happened to come across David Loh Surgery, Aesthetic Clinic in Singapore.

I decided to meet up with their doctor after some discussion through email.

When i reach there i was very amazed how pleasant and comfy the clinic looks.

It gave me a very relaxing warm feeling.

I eventually went in and meet up with Dr Phoon-George Yi Shan, whom i addressed as Dr Shan.

Dr Shan was a very sweet lady, whom was very patient in analyzing my body problems and explaining the suitable treatment for me. Above all there wasnt any hard selling at all.

I shared with Dr Shan my concerns as well as my history of loosing 40kg.

My few main problems are:

- Stubborn fat area (Outer Thigh, Hip, Love handle)

- Loose and saggy skin from loosing 40kg (arms, inner thighs and chin)

After some discussion we decided that i should do one Fat targeting treatment which is Coolsculpting and one Skin tightening treatment (which i will talked and share more in my another post)

Why i decided to do these 2 treatments mainly because ive been exercise diligently but then at the end of the day im just human and there are just so much i can do. External Bonus help would really be good for me to target on spots which i cannot get rid off no matter how much exercise i do. OH!! and these treatment just need to be done like once or twice per year! YES! you heard me ONCE OR TWICE PER YEAR!

So i decided to do Coolscuplting on my Fat Outer Thighs and appointment is booked on the next day.

Thats how efficient they were!!! =)

What is Coolscuplting treatment?? 

The Coolsculpting is a non-invasive body contouring treatments. Totally external, the treatment involve freezing the fats. This causes the fats cells to die off. The released fats are then transported safely to the liver and used as energy.  It was discovered that fat deposits can be destroyed simply by freezing and thawing the fat cells. After much research on human safety and efficacy came Zetiqs Coolsculpting device. This is the original Cryolipolysis device.

How is the Process??

Each treatment of Coolsculpting involves first applying suction to the treatment area. The machine then gradually and painlessly extracts the heat out of the area until it is completely frozen. The whole process takes one hour per treatment area. The treatment is completely painless throughout and surrounding tissues like the skin, muscles and nerves are not affected. 

What are the Effects of Coolscuplting??

Coolscuplting isnt as simple as just freezing fats. The exact algorithm for the freezing and thawing sequence is highly researched by Zeltiq to deliver a predictable and consistent 20-25% reduction in fat cells of the areas treated after a single treatment.  (Which is amazing isnt it??)
As days passes by you will see more results, may take up to 3- 6months for full result..

Who is suitable for Coolscuplting?

Coolscuplting is not only for fat/overweight people, its also for people who is physically fit and still have bulges, rolls, and other small areas of fat they cant get rid of no matter how much they exercise or diet. (Like me). Also for GUYS!!! This treatment is particularly useful for sculpting male abdomens too! It is said that after years of performing liposuction on men, its discovered that men tend to tolerate poorly the recovery associated with liposuction of their bellies. Perhaps it is because men are more active and the recovery after liposuction stops them from their activities and as a result they get very grumpy. (So ladies, its a good valentines day gift) *wink

How i felt?

Overall experience of coolsculpting was actually very good! i didnt experience any pain at all.

Neither did i experience any extreme coldness, all i felt was a little numb at the applied area, which is obvious right? As they are freezing my fats! The redness went away after an hour and the numbness gradually went away the very same day for me.. So now im gonna wait patiently as i did mentioned the result will be seen more and more as the days pass and the dead frozen fat cells will be either used as energy or comes out as wastage.
